OUR HISTORY

THE APOLLO STORY

2005

Apollo Property Maintenance Ltd was launched by company director, Colin Simpson, in 2005. Many of the workforce that was hired remains with the company today.

2008

Apollo continued to grow with the launch of Apollo Electrical Contractors Ltd. and the recruitment of more top-class tradesmen. Apollo also achieved NICEIC accreditation.

2014

The Project Division was added under the Apollo Property Maintenance umbrella. This accelerated the company’s growth into a major player in the commercial property maintenance sector in the North of England.

2015

Kyle Park joined the company as Business Development Manager to expand the scale and scope of Apollo’s work. A key focus in the years ahead was to win contracts in the health and social care sectors.

2017

Due to its continued expansion, Apollo outgrew its original base and moved to its 17,500sqft unit in Washington, Tyne and Wear.

With additional manufacturing space, the company’s Roofing Division was launched under the supervision of Roofing Contracts Manager, Terry Mahoney.

2018

Apollo’s divisions merged to form Apollo Facility Management Ltd. This broadened our ability to provide clients with a one-stop-shop solution for their businesses needs.

2019

Apollo’s reach expanded as we joined forces with Mike Delaney, former Operations Director of Spie Facility Management, to form Apollo Multi-Technical Services, based in the North West of England.

2020

The Apollo team grew to more than 50 qualified engineers, which allowed the company to undertake larger projects across the UK.

Apollo FM was accredited with ISO 9001 to cement our commitment to high standards. Plus, with the award of BM TRADA Certification, Apollo expanded once more to offer fire door installation and maintenance, as well as fire-stopping installation services to offer the highest standards of safety to our customers.
